We have a textfield with a height of 12px with textAdjust set to "StretchHeight".
The text inside is much longer, so the height gets adjusted (increased to three rows).
If there are more than two lines, character parts below the text base lines get cut off in the last row.
For examples if there are "g" characters in the last row, the lower part of the "g" character is cut off.
But only if there are more than two lines and only in the last line.
I could reproduce the error with a blank jaspersoft studio with version 6.18.1 and 6.20
I've attached a very simple example where this can be reproduced.
I've also added a screenshot of the problem.

I've just seen that this issue has also been reported with #12786 two year's ago.
But unfortunately this issue is still open.
Hi, I'm closing the following bug as "Duplicate" and moving it to the correct project JasperReports Library.
I will add a comment in the old #12786 that you mentioned with a reference back to this.
