We upgraded the following libraries from version 6_7_0 to 6_16_0, we seem some distortions on the html reports and pdf as well, looks like some CSS styling elements like border-collapse:collapse are causing the distortions. Please refer the attached screenshots , compare 6_7_0 to 6_16_0
jasperreports-javaflow-6.16.0
jasperreports-fonts-6.16.0
jasperreports-6.16.0
v6.16.0

This is a Chromium/Chrome bug, see at https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=2902
Last relevant comment reads "It'll be fixed when TablesNG land."
Until that happens, you can change the border-collapse attribute via a configuration property http://jasperreports.sourceforge.net/config.reference.html#net.sf.jasper...

If this is a chrome browser issue , then why it is not reproducible when we use the 6_7_0 version of jasper jars.
I don't know, please upload a self contained test case to reproduce the difference between 6.7.0 and 6.16.0.
