With JasperReports server 6.4.2.
Exporting to ODS always format number as text cells not to number cells.
Text fields for that cells are BigDecimal and Long types, even formatted like numbers with Pattern property.
Always starts with a quote (') each value cell and have to convert manually for number operations.
Excel exporter do it well.
