Summary:
AWT-EventQueue nullpointerexception I checked out the code with changes through 28/03/2006 and did a build on Sun JDK 1.5.0_04. When running iReports on Win/XP SP2 I now get the following exception. After the exception I'm unable to use the cursor keys to move report elements. Not sure what else stops working.

I seams to be report specific. In one report it works ok and
another I get that exception output and I dont see the edit
group dialog.

I have the same problem. I have Java 1.5, winxp SP2,
ireports 1.2.2.

I cant edit groups which is really annoying.

Does not seem to be related to a specific report file. I
must say that I have not been looking for that correlation
so it could be there and I just didn't notice as I have
several reports that I'm trying to convert from and
earlier
version of iReports/JasperReports.

Does this happen when working with a specific report file,
or on any report?

I'm using the out of the box default Look & Feel of
Metal. I
had do search around to find that to answer your question so
would not have changed it.

What look and feel are you using?

It turns out that I can get the exception with just doing an
ant iReport

I don't remember seeing the error if I do an ant iReport however I have not been looking for that either. I'll run for a time that way and let you know if I see the exception.

do you get the same exception if you run ant iReport instead?
