Summary:
Text/ Field box attribute not manually changing In iReports 1.2.2 when you have a object like a text box or a field box (an element), you can modify the element properties manually by typing new spec. For example with a text box, you want to change the width, so you highlight the box and in the element properties sidebar, you can manually enter the new size.

It should automatically accept the new number, but when replacing the whole number, it does not. Ex: the width is 27 and you highlight the whole number and change it to 45, then box width remains the same and the new input is completely ignored. However if you change one of the columns of the number, it works properly. Ex: the width is 27 and you delete the 7 and add a 0, so that the new width is 20. This change works and is accepted.

yep I can verify that this is broken , in 1.2.3 sometimes it accepts the change, other times it does not .

also if you have "27" and do a single highlight of a single number "7" , and try
to over type it "5", it will not be accepted. and the number remains as "27"
