I recently ordered the documentation for iReport and JasperReports, where I found out that reportFonts are deprecated in iReport (but not in JasperReport).
I think that you should reconsider this decision, because reportFonts are very, very usefull when one has many textfields and/or staticTexts in a report which have different fonts (for display and PDF) and atributes.
If reportFonts can be used, one just can define a set of reportFonts and then just select the appropriate reportFont for each textField. Otherwise for each textfield the fontName, pdfFontName and all the appropriate atributes would have to be selected manually, which is much more work to be done.
Therefore I ask you to reconsider your decision of making reprotFonts in iReport deprecated.
