Summary:
Keep selected item in list
If you are working with a item in a list, for example a specific variable in the list of variables. When you click on the variable is indicates which one is selected by changing the color of the selected item. Then when you select the modify button it pops up a dialog box that allows you to modify the properties/attributes associated with the item. But when you close the dialog box the list no longer has the item selected. This makes it hard to remember which item you were modifing.

Ok. This happen because an update of the list is called. We'll keep of selected item(s).
