Summary:
Look at Access
Many people still use access for reporting, why not look at some features access uses for creating reports, some features I really miss are:
1. the inabbility to create numbered or dotted lists in raw text (not using database fields)
2. The use of tabs in textfields which are NOT relative to the text in the field so a list is lined up nicely.
3. Easy insering of hard page breaks, no hasling around
4. Abbillity of putting stuff on the bottom of an page in subreports
5. Automatic resizing of columnssizes when page sizes change, now when I make the page size smaller the column doesn't fit and I have to adjust it's size manually
6. More communication to the outside world, are you still working on this project? the last comment is of march, it's almost may now.
7. Keep up the good work, iReport is still the best opensource reportingtool around.
