Summary:
Request for a notification when modifying a read-only file iReport does not give you any kind of notification if you are modifying a read-only .jrxml file. It just lets
you modify it. We have multiple developers that use iReport and use a SCM and check in our .jrxml files which makes our local files read-only.
It would be great if iReport would notify you that you have opened a read-only file. That way you would know that you need to check the file out from the SCMrepository if you have forgotten.
