Smart Display
I have reports with multiple subreports which might have or not any data resulting in not pretty blank spaces in the report. Even adding unnecesary blank pages or pages with huge blank spaces.
Also placing a sub report below another leads to one report overwriting the other. So the arrangement in the report (.jrxml) is not always what you get.
It would be nice to have the concept of arrays in which subreports, or even fields (with print conditions), can be grouped and display reports maximizing the space on the page.
Let's say I have eight reports in an array and reports 3 and 5 would be blank. The array will give report 3 space to #4 and report 5 space to #6 so no blank space is left an the other space is freed.
Also allowing for one report to start printing after the one above ends.
I bet this is not to be defined in xml level just the jasperprint logic.
