on ireport 4.1.x when i create or modify a report with 3.0.0 compatibility, it can't be saved.
it says:
Error saving the JRXML: XML writer for version 3_0_0 not found

This is still a problem at 4.5.

Due to a constraint of an ecommerce application with JasperServer embedded, we must have backward compatibility to be able to use the newer versions of iReport!

i hope this can be fixed on a short time, i'm missing the new features off the new versions of iReport, please, take this bug seriously.<br><br>I do not think removing 3.0 support option is a good solution.

Any news on this issue?
I'm using 4.5.0, would like to save to version 2.0.5, getting error:
"Error saving the JRXML: XML writer for version 2_0_5 not found"
Annoying that you can configure IReport for older versions but not save...
