I am creating simpel report with Japanese Characters and it goes well with Internal Preview but not in PDF Preview even Saving as PDF file upon Internal Preview.

i think this issue is already addressed but can't see the resolution.

It is the same for Chinese encode.
This seems to be an issue with iText. you need to have the itextasian.jar file, and have it configured correctly. here are some links to other people having the same issue:
