[#4563] - Japanese characters disappears when PDF Preview

I am creating simpel report with Japanese Characters and it goes well with Internal Preview but not in PDF Preview even Saving as PDF file upon Internal Preview.

iReport 3.7.0
Java: 1.6.0_12; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 11.2-b01
OS: x86 Windows XP SP3 Version 5.1; MS932; ja_JP (ireport)

It is the same for Chinese encode.

This seems to be an issue with iText. you need to have the itextasian.jar file, and have it configured correctly. here are some links to other people having the same issue:
