I am iReport Classic User, very strange with nb edition..
I don't know the following situation whether is bug or not.
1.can not do a group or single object select with
mouse(left -> right), (right->left) work fine.
2.border not visible if linewidth < 1 (designer perspective)
My Runtime Enviroment:
XPP + iReport-nb-3.6 + jdk1.6.0_15

1. This is how it is supposed to work: selection from left to right selects all elements totally included in the selection area, selection right to left selects all the elements even partially included in the selection area.
2. Attached a screenshot showing two elements (a textfield and a rectangle) with borders set to width 0.5
