Hi,
We are using jasper reports with seam. Our requirment is to view a jasper report in pdf format in 3 languages. i.e English,Sinhala and Tamil. The English pdf report comes fine but the Tamil and Sinhala characters are not correctly rendering..the same Sinhala & Tamil reports come fine in html format..
How to solve the rendering issue in UTF8 characters?
Please reply.
Thank you.

What output format has problems?
If PDF, are you setting the correct PDF character encoding for your textfields?
Can you provide a simple jrxml containing some characters that are not correctly rendered? and maybe a screenshots of how they should be?
Thanks
Giulio
Hi Giulio,
Thanks for the reply. I've attached the jrxml, the pdf output and expected output too..
Thanks
Regards.

I see only question marks in your file, that means that the jrxml is not save as UTF-8. Use iR 3.1.4 and convert first the jrxml file in UTF-8.
Hi,
You see as ??? marks due to the iskpota.ttf font has not been installed in your machine. Although the attached .jrxml file was saved in UTF8. I've used iR 3.1.4 too.. I've attached a simple jrxml file. You could see the diffrence in the word in the attached immage file (circled in red color)
pls help on this..we are stuck.
Thanks.
Regards.
