[#14241] - <table> not working

I put a textfield in jasper with markup:html and send a simple html code such as <table><tr><td>a</td><td>b</td><td>c</td></tr><tr><td>a</td><td>b</td><td>c</td></tr></table> and it didnt display a simple table with 2 rows. Im not plan to make a layout out of this, just to use as a normal document to display records of a contract. Is there an alternative solution for this ?
