Good afternoon,

This is my first post, I'm starting in ireport and I'm having problems with the firebird connection, I've tried everything I know and found it but so far nothing has solved.

Could someone please help me?

Information to help me:

SO - Windows 7 - Home Basic
Version of Firebird 2.5.8
Driver: jaybird-full-2.2.9 (already tried other versions)
Ireport 5.6.0 (I'm using this version because of the netbeans version I'm using, 8.2)

All the .jar files for the Driver were copied to "C: \ Program Files \ Jaspersoft \ iReport-5.6.0 \ ide10 \ modules \ ext" and also other directories that I searched for and that in the searches said .jar should be .

After inserting the .jar files, indicate the paths in the path: Tools> Options> Classpath> AddJAR.

I thought it might be something relative to the permission and I gave full permission regarding security to the "Jaspersoft" directory.

when a new database connection was created, all the steps were followed regarding the manual insertion of the driver, that is:

JDBD Driver "org.firebirdsql.jdbc.FBDriver"
JDBC URL "jdbc: firebirdsql: localhost / 3050: C: / Bank / BankName.FDB"
Username "SYSDBA" (Firebird default)
Password "masterkey" (Firebird default)
Tiquei Save passsword

Although everything is in agreement, I always get the following message:

ClassNotFoundError!
Msg: org.firebirdsql.jdbc.FBDriver
Possible not foun class: org.firebirdsql.jdbc.FBDriver
...

I am waiting for any opinion or help,
Thank you very much in advance.

iReport project is not longer being developed nor supported. Please use Jaspersoft Studio which is the current report design tool supported by TIBCO Jaspersoft.
