Log4JCategoryLog does not implement Log...?

I'm trying to use JR in a NetBeans platform based app and get the following exception when I attempt to compile a .jrxml file.

 

My problem is I know very, very little of what some reffer to "classloader hell", but seem to be faced with it. NetBeans has it's own classloader/s doing a lot of magic for me and it always worked flawlessly - until now, that is.

From what I understand, it seems that Log and Log4JCategoryLog are loaded by different classloaders which causes the above exception.

I can post a stack trace if it'll help.

 

What can I do to resolve the issue?
