java.sql.Timestamp param in JasperServer?

2006-05-16 08:02

Does anyone use JasperServer? How do you define a java.sql.Timestamp parameter? The only option available seems to be a Date/Time type that uses java.util.Date. I get a ClassCastException when the report is run.

No one uses JasperServer? It's a pretty nice little web app that is a wrapper around JasperReports. I tried to find info on the JasperIntelligence site, but found nothing and their community link sent me here.

In the administration of the web app you configure the reports that you want available. Part of this configuration is defining what parameters the report has. I have not been able to figure out how to define a java.sql.Timestamp parameter. The only option seems to be java.util.Date. So when the report is run a ClassCastException occurs.

Can anyone shed some light here?

Thanks,

Dave
