agatiT
Hello everyone, I've recently installed Jasper Studio to start working on reports, but I'm encountering an issue: I cannot log in with my Jasper Community account through Jasper Studio. Here are a few additional details: I already have a Jasper Community account, which I use without any issues to access the forum and dowload jasper studio community. My account works fine on the website, but when I try to log in from Jasper Studio, the connection fails saying The provided credentials are invalid, when i use aternative login and use a browser I got the message Username or password not valid, please try again. I'm using Jasper Studio version 7. I have tried reinstalling Jasper Studio and checked my internet connection, but the problem persists. Has anyone else experienced this issue or knows what might be preventing the connection between Jasper Studio and the Community account? Thanks in advance for your help! Massimo Rabbi
Hi, it might be there were some issues on the Community site, but these days I used both "direct credentials" and "alternative method" with QR code. They worked fine. Can you please retry and let us know? It's strange you are able to correctly login to the community site, but not later re-enter credentials to authenticate and get the CODE from the QR Code link. I assume you were not facing the "incomplete profile data" thing (https://community.jaspersoft.com/forums/topic/68959-missing-support-for-java-21-on-jasperstudio-700/) but it might makes sense to double check your profile page. A simple suggestion is to try a new "private" session in the browser in order to have a "clean" environment. Maybe you can enable the "web developer tools" section of the browser to see any possible error message. Best regards, Massimo.
fubar
if you are behind a firewall, that might block the https connection to authenticate the account and give password invalid error. I had to get a rootcert installed to pass through the firewall.
