Are you ever going to fix your editor problems??

Using your eclipse-based Jasper studio to edit report templates is ridiculously inefficient due to some bugs that have been present for the past several releases.   this was reported for the 6.x version a couple years ago and I just confirmed that the bug is still present in the late 7.X community edition.  This problem was also present with the commercial version in prior testing.

This is very simple to reproduce.  Just pull up any report, select a dement and use the properties  to manually set the X value.  Notice as soon as you press enter to save the value, that editor control gets grayed out and becomes read-only.   Not just for this element, but every other element in the report has has to the X value grayed out.  This also happens for other properties like the Y, W, H.  The only solution is to restart jasper which unlocks these properties for another one-time use.

This seriously hampers the ability to precisely layout text and other element, or stretch a line to match the width of a nearby text block, etc...  This problem was not present in the original iReport editor or the net beans editor, but appeared in the most recent releases on eclipse platform.  If this is being done on purpose, why!?  A visual layout tool should not behave this way.
