Using special characters in hyperlink

2004-04-18 23:46

Hi,

I am trying to use hyperlink in my report and I get an issue.

I create a text field and I set the type of the hyperlink as Reference. In the HyperlinkReferenceExpression, I input it with $F{hyperlink}, the field comes from my JRDatasource.

My finding indicates that if the value of $F{hyperlink} looks like "/mydir/test.jsp?user=kevin", the hyperlink in the exported pdf will be "http://localhost/mydir/test.jsp?user=kevin". However, if the value of $F{hyperlink} looks like "/mydir/test.jsp?user=kevin@abc.com";, the hyperlink in the pdf will be "kevin@abc.com" target="_blank">http:///mydir/test.jsp?user=kevin@abc.com>".

I guess the issue is caused by the usage of @, but I have no idea how to solve it. Could anyone give me a hand?

Sorry, I don't know why my message can't be displayed correctly.

Let me repeat my question.

If the $F{hyperlink} is "/mydir/test.jsp?user=kevin" , the hyperlink in the exported pdf will be " http://localhost/mydir/test.jsp?user=kevin " .

However, if the ${hyperlink} is "/mydir/test.jsp?user=kevin@abc.com"; , the hyperlink in the pdf will be " kevin@abc.com" target="_blank">http:///mydir/test.jsp?user=kevin@abc.com> ".

Thanks for your help.
