Cannot connect to Application URL

Hello All,

I installed JasperSoft Community Edition 6.10 as this version is recommended by our Application vendor.

I provide my application URL as : https://host:port/service with Username and Password

When I click on Test Connection, I am getting an Exception pop up with message:

Exception, if you want to see more information look into details

Reason: Connection failed

When I click Details button, I get below information:

net.sf.jasperreports.engine.JRException: Connection failed
    at com.redprairie.moca.jrds.MocaDBDataAdapterService.createConnection(MocaDBDataAdapterService.java:65)
    at com.redprairie.moca.jrds.MocaDBDataAdapterService.test(MocaDBDataAdapterService.java:83)
    at com.jaspersoft.studio.data.DataAdapterEditorPart$1$1.runOperations(DataAdapterEditorPart.java:196)
    at com.jaspersoft.studio.utils.jobs.CheckedRunnableWithProgress$1.run(CheckedRunnableWithProgress.java:51)
    at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:748)

Any idea what could cause this exception?

Regards,

Raghav

Hello, I got the reason of the error. Whenever, we install another version of Jaspersoft Studio Community Edition, we need to first uninstall the version installed on system and then, we also need to delete the folder JaspersoftWorkspace in profile directory C:Users<username>
