Hello,

I want to design a label with Jasper. When I print this label directly from Jasper to check if all dimensions etc. are correct, the texts are not printed strong enough.

From another application I wrote to print labels, directly in ZPL code, I have no problems. However, I can also send the command ^MD10 which is responsible for blackening the font to the printer. My question now is how can I send this printer control command in Jasper? Even if I specify the redaction in the window driver, it seems to be overwritten or ignored by Jasper again.

My second question is about the fonts that are present in the printer. How can I use them in Jasper? I want to avoid that a label is printed as a graphic which will be a problem at the runtime of Jasper because of the amount of labels.

I am grateful for any advice.
