time value in charts

2005-11-22 10:26

hello

I am trying to build a bar chart, in which the values to draw have not a a numeric format but are time amounts (3h 23 m)per example. So I have avariable like this one:

<valueExpression><![CDATA[$V{planv}]]></valueExpression>

where $V{planv} is a java.sql.Time.

But if I do that I get this error:

net.sf.jasperreports.engine.JRException: Errors were encountered when compiling report expressionsjava:197: inconvertible types found : java.sql.Time required: java.lang.Number

There´s a way (using only xml tags, without having to create my own scriplet) that I can have <valueExpression> as an integer (number of seconds or minutes) and have the labels in the axis be drawed with the "hh:mm:ss" format ?
