schmidy
Hi,I have a new deployed insance of Jaspersoft BI on AWS using the 'TIBCO Jaspersoft for AWS with Multi-Tenancy' template on AWS CloudFormation.I have a postgres data source configured. When I try to create a domain and use 'Create with Domain Designer', I don't get a list of schema's to select. It defaults to the 'information_schema'.I am running JS_VERSION=7.1.0Thanks
prusyn
Usually, when you open Domain Designer, it should pop-up what schema to use, like this: https://prnt.sc/li78o3In your case, can you please in Domain Designer on Tables view, click on Data Source selected: http://prntscr.com/li79bjIt should open pop-up Manage Data Source. Click on Select Schemas..: http://prntscr.com/li79sj . "Select DB Schemas" pop-up should appear.
schmidy
Thanks for the answer Prusyn, I didn't know 'select schemas' was avaiable from the 'Manage Data Source' dialog.Sadly 'select schemas' is grayed out on my dialog screen: https://prnt.sc/lig4rnAny idea's why the schemas would not show for a postgres database deployed in Amazon RDS? I was able to connect to the internal Postgres DB running on the Jaspersoft server. Thanks,
prusyn
are you able to connect to this db using any sql client just to test if db is working? I mean, looks like schemas are missing at all.Use this article as guide for working with db: https://aws.amazon.com/getting-started/tutorials/create-connect-postgresql-db
