Default date input field

Hello I have a report with an input field with which I query a date.

In JasperStudio I have the possibility to define a default:

Class: java.sql.Date
Default Value Expression: DATE(YEAR(new java.util.Date()),1,1)

How do I define the default date in the Jasperserver?

if the input field is published with, no value is given. The field is empty

Create a parameter, publish the report with the parameter to the server.
