caprihan
Hi,I'm using JasperStudio 6.5.1 on a Mac (Sierra) and am running into a very strange issue off late.Whenever I try to compile my jrxml, I get the error:Unable to create the binary file, check the compilation errorsI have no idea what's going on...there is nothing reported in the Problems View or the Error Log View. I've even tried to create a new project, add a blank jrxml with just a text box in it...Preview works perfectly but when I try to compile to .jasper, I get the above message.Any help would be greatly appreciated. franky4
I had the same problem when copying a preconfiguered workspace in spite of all file-access / admin rights. The workaround was to just configure anyting like logging (Window->Preferences...). Even when taking the chang backthe compiling still works.

jpfeliciano
Hi everyone.I had the same problem. The workaround in my local environment was to set "Always use current" in the two dropdowns related to .jrxml version, which are available in the Compatibility category, at Preferences of the IDE.Kind regards. suqxxacltmeesgvjhe
It actually generates a working file, despite returning "Unable to create the binary file, check the compilation errors"...
