How to print background for all pages except the last page?

Is it possible to print background for all pages except the last page?

I try to use the code below in the print when expression but the background show all page except first page, it's not working.

 

new Boolean(($P{REPORT_PARAMETERS_MAP}.put("LastPageNumber",$V{PAGE_NUMBER}).equals("dummyPrintWhen")) || Boolean.TRUE)

How about you try this PrintWhen Expression instead? I don't have time to try it out right now but that should work.

 

$V{PAGE_NUMBER} < $V{PAGE_COUNT}
