Remove blank space while using multiple Table Component. Please Help

Hello Everyone,

I am new in Jasper using v 5.6.0. I create a report which contains three Table Components in detail area.when any table query is null then that detail area is not showing auto but the blank space is not removing.

  For Example I have A, B & C table:

abc

abc

table B:

abc

abc

table C:

abc

abc

 

when B is null then tables are showing like below

 

table A

abc

abc

 

 

 

table C:

abc

abc

 

B table not showing but how to remove B space. Please Help

Hi, you must be on the:

1.- Text Field Properties set active -> Blank When Null,

2.- And after, on the Appearance set active: Remove Line When Blank.

Besides the two above mentioned items, You also need Position Type set to Float on Table A, Table B and Table C. This way they will move upwards when they are blank.

You set position type in Appearance tab > Location.
