How to generate a report in CSV format ?

Hello,

I am new to Jasper Reports and using Ireport 5.6.0 . I'd like to ask how a report in csv format is generated please ?

I will be calling this report from Jdeveloper. Thanks.

Please note that support/development for iReport has been discontinued since the end of 2015. Jaspersoft Studio (https://community.jaspersoft.com/project/jaspersoft-studio) is now the official design client for JasperReports
