Can you have a master quuery with subdataset link to another subdataset (master-detail-sub detail?

I'm using JR Sutdio 6.2 community and basically I need a report with a master(dept) -> detail (emp) -> sub-detail (emp_job_history).

I'm hoping I can do this with just datasets so I do not need to create 3 reports( 1 master and 2 sub reports).

I know how to create a master and detail using sub dataset.

Is this possible create a 3rd dataset but link it to the sub-dataset instead of the master dataset?

Hello,

As per my experience it is not feasible. Why don't you create Dept as main report

and put Emp as sub-report while Emp_job_history as sub-dataset in the sub-report Emp.
