JASPER bar chart problem，how to show repeat category tick label

I  want to create  a bar chart.  i used category  bar model. when date range is 2015-01-01 to 2016-06-01. Then  i choose the date string  for example 2015-01-01 to be category key. How can i let domain axis tick lable show  as JAN FEB APR MAR MAY JUN JUL AUG SEP OCT NOV  DEC JAN FEB MAR APR MAY JUN

Means edit category tick label expression to repeat category tick label. how can i do  it. Need help. Thanks in advance.(,,•́ . •̀,,)

I have viewed the example. But seems  not similar with my requirements. What  i want is to show repeat category tick label  in domain  axis range. Do you have any idea?

Hi,

In case your report is based on JFreeCharts, try with an xyBarChart instead of simple barChart, and set tickLabelMask="MMM" for the axisFormat in the categoryAxisFormat element. An useful example can be found in the JR charts sample (see the XYBarChartTimeSeriesReport.jrxml file in the /demo/samples/charts/reports/ directory in the src distro).
