Passing data from Main report to sub report problem

Hi everyone;

 

I have a several problem concerning passing data from main report to subReport. The parameter is well passed but the query (using that parameter in where) returns no records

I don't know where is the problem

And for pass parameter to sub-report you must select the sub-report and go to the "Parameters" property and there select "Copy From Master"

I see that link but it does not answer to my question . My problem is taht the main report is populated by java bean datasource and the subreport is a sql quiery that uses some fields in main report as condition (i create the parameters both in the main report and the subreport ) so the parameter is passed but the result fields in subreport displays null
