hozawa Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 Uploaded a video of processing 12 million records in MySQL with Adhoc View. The lesson learned is that Adhoc View isn't an OLAP engine so don't design database for OLAP. The database need to be tuned for Adhoc View - that is, separate Adhoc View database from Reporting database.BTW, I'm using Japanese version of JasperReports Server 6.1.0 and MySQL on a single i5 notebook with 16GB memory. There wasn't any need to use RedShift. Will appreciate if you can provide me with information on how to further improve Adhoc View performance.
