How to convert Business Object WEBI and Crystal Report to Jasper Report

Hi All,

I have several BO webi and Crystal Report that we are using in, now we moved to Clarity 14.2 and this version only support jaspersoft so wanted to convert  BO reports to Jasper reports.

Please let me know your expertize throughts.

I think there was a clause in BO usage contract which explicitly forbids anyone from providing migration tool from BO to other reporting system.

Thus, the legal answer to you question is to rebuild all reports manually on JasperReports.

That said, it's not too difficult to create a conversion tool. Unfortunately, providing such information on how is prohibited too so you'll have to find it yourself.

In BO we have universe concept, can you tell me is there any similar concept available in Jaspersoft.

if yes, what is that.

if no, then how Jaspersoft end user will create there own reports.
