I need to be able to create a report in Studio that displays as a grid in the Server

People have been asking this for 10 years I see.

After answering my own last question 5 days ago, on selecting multiple drop down parameters, by ever more efficient Googlin' (I discovered the awesome Carl Barlow), I s'pose I'd better start going through that decade of incoherence.

When I work out the answer, I will post it here.

Appears to be part of the answer, but it doesn't address the issue of a design template that would generate a report to screen that looks like a spreadsheet  prior to export.

Done.  The only issue now is that numbers are exported to the spreadsheet as text.
