Daniel.r.flaherty.mil
My users generate reports that they designed with access. We have upgraded to Japser Studio and I really don't want to have to build the reports all over again. Is there a way to import the report from access so that all my querys and design replicate? joshuatoepferyahoo.com
Daniel,If you could clarify a couple of things, it might help resolve your issue. What sort of tools do your uses currently use to generate the report with MS Access? or do they use SQL? When you say you are now using Jasper Studio are you using it as a standalone IDE to run reports?
Daniel.r.flaherty.mil
Sir,We are using MS Access to run repors of a Lotus Dominio DB. We have migrated the db to SQl and use Jasper Studio to run reports of the sql db. Does that help? Dan
joshuatoepferyahoo.com
Daniel,Jasper Reports has its own JRXML report definition. I am not aware of anything that will do a MS Access translation to JRXML. Saying that, it shouldn't be that hard to replicate the report in JasperReports Studio. Hopefully that helps.- Josh
