How to setup the subreport and main report of jasper studio in Jasper server

Hi,

I have a created a main report jrxml in the jasper studio and inside that i have created sub report. I have run preview in Jasper studio, it is giving proper results. I am not sure on how to setup the main report jrxml and sub report jrxml in the jasper server. could some one please help me on this?

Just publish the main report to jasper server. That's it. 

While published in jasper server, it will show your subreport as a resource used in main report.  just click on the location where you need to publisha and ensure that you've associated the data source to the report.

follow up question

i have published reports with sub-reports from Studio to Server.

sometimes they show up as a resource just like you suggest, however, sometimes none of the sub-reports show up in the Resoruce list.

when that happens, how does one correct it?
