Connect to MS SQL SERVER 2000 from JasperReports Server 5.6.1

Hello,

I am new to JasperReports Server and I've just installed version 6.0.1 on a Windows 8.1 x64 Professional machine. I have been trying to connect to my MS SQL SERVER which is still running on version 2000 without success. I am stuck trying to install the driver on the JasperReports Server because unitl now I haven't found any instructions that would allow me to install the drivers successfully. Can you help me with how I should proceed to install the drivers properly?

If you're using Tomcat, just put the driver jar file in Tomcat's lib directory and restart tomcat.

Is from a previous version of JRS but all stil applies.

On the Commercial version of JasperServer there are other methods using the UI as superuser that will also work which is in Documented in the Administration Guide here: http://community.jaspersoft.com/documentation/tibco-jasperreports-server-administrator-guide/v601/managing-jdbc-drivers
