the passed parameter from main report to sub-report is not accessible

I created one parameter in main report and same parameter in sub-report,

i set the "parameter" property of subreport where i added parameter,

but when i am trying to access that parameter in sub report, it is not coming

please help me how i'll access parameter in sub report

Please mention the type of the parameter and what are you using that for. For ex: is the parameter a String whichh holds the SQL or is it a parameter to the subreport query or it is just used to display in the subreport
