How to compile for a previous version of JasperReports ?

Bonjour,

I'm a new user of JasperSoft Studio !

I have te modify a jasper file used with a java application ;  In this application, the .jar version is "jasperreports-2.0.5.jar".

How to comile my new .jrxml file to .jasper file for this version ?

I don't think you'll be able to modify the jasper file - you'll need to get the original jrxml file. jrxml is the original report layout in xml format used to generate the jasper file. jrxml file is just an xml file so you'll be able to edit it with a text editor.

I can open .jasper file in JasperSoft Studio , and save in jrxml format ;

My problem is to compile my new files in this version, to be avaible with "jasperreports-2.0.5.jar" (in this java application).

With JasperSoft Studio, I can save jrxml in previous version, but How can I compile ?
