Summary Band - More than one Page?

Hello,

I am new to JR, but like it very much so far.

One problem I could not find and answer to. I have a big table with 40 columns.

Every day I want to create an overview with several charts. I am working with measurement values, so there is nothing which has to be "repeated" as in the detailed band.

Basically I am looking for a place, which can have more than one page where I can put some stuff, which appears only one time.

My first Idea was to expand the summary band, but I dont know, if this is possible.

Ok, two possible solutions came up, both using the page break element:

1. Just use the space you have in the summary band and add several subreports seperated by page breaks. I would make sense, if the subreports has no other elements than the summary.
2. Increase the size of the summary band to something much bigger than the summary band should be by design and seperate the contents again by page breaks. The trick is to increase the size of the summary band in the xml code, because the designer will not allow it.
