Jaspersoft AWS - sorting data

Hi

I have a simple table, with two columns, in JasperSoft BI for AWS. I click the sort button, and choose a column to sort by. I see the brief "loading" message, but the sort does not seem to take effect.

Is there anything else I need to do to get the sort to work?

The browser I am using is Google Chrome.

Hi - Quick update on this. We don't seem to have been able to resolve the issues, so we've shut down the AWS instance for now and are going with a local copy of JasperSoft Studio.

What type of table?... built with Jaspersoft Studio and trying to sort in the Interactive report viewer on JasperReports Server?... What is the data source?

This may be an old post, but we're finding the same thing. We have AWS using version 6.3.0. We have several domains and a few dozen ad-hoc views. In any view, clicking the sort button on the toolbar will show the sorting options. A field may be selected. When closing the screen, the sort does not take effect. Re-opening the sort dialog indicates no sort options are selected. In short, Jaspersoft Server does not appear to be saving the sort selections.

 

Any help would be helpful.
