hozawa Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 JRS manuals still refer to iReports instead of JSS. From reading manuals, it seems iReports is still the "official" tool. From reading the manuals, it doesn't seems like iReports is really going to be retired. What's the official stance - I keep hearing to use Jaspersoft Studio but the manuls tells me to use iReports!Example: "JasperReports Server Admin Guide" v5.6.1"You can use Jaspersoft iReport Designer (hereafter called “iReport”) or write your own JRXML code tocreate a report that can be run in the server. Jaspersoft recommends that you use iReport unless you have athorough understanding of the JasperReports Library file structure."
