Why I Report Version 5.6.0 cannot be use in Ubuntu 14.04LTS version?

If really not support, which version suitable?

Should be using Jaspersoft Studio instread of iReport.

Same problem and i don't want install jasper studio. Indeed we must use ireport 4.0.2 (which have the same problem that 5.6.0) for itext compatibility and it doesn't works ...
