Paul.Caswell Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 I have a report with a background that appears fine on page 1 but does not appear on page 2.The background contains a subreport which seems to be the cause of the problem as when I remove it the rest of the background appears fine on all pages.I realise putting a subreport on the background panel is a bit strange but it contains customer information that must appear twice on all pages so it makes perfect sense in my case.Using Jaspersoft Studio 5.6.0.final
hozawa Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 I understand why you're using subreports but why on a backgroup? Can't you just create another regular band in your report and put your subreport there?
Paul.Caswell Posted July 22, 2014 Author Posted July 22, 2014 @hozawa - Ultimately there are three sub-reports, one for the actual data and the other two are identical copies of a summary. The report is to be printed on label paper and thus must adhere to specific layout requirements, in particular that the two summaries must take up the left half of every page. The only way I can find to do that is to use the background.
