characters won't be written completely in textfield (iReport)

Hi there,

for my Excel-report, im trying to cheat my way through lack of paper-space. I created a 5 pixel field and filled it with a data from our database. The goal is to fill the field completely with for example: "ABCDEFGH", there is only one letter shown because of the 5 pixels, but if I stretch my field with excel, only the first character is printed on it. Is it possible to manage it somehow, that if when I stretch my Excel-field, that it's "ABCDEFGH" and not just "A" shown? It's a String-type.. "Stretch with Overflow" does work, but it creates a huge vertically field, which destroys my complete layout.

solved it.. just set the page width on 1200 pixels and done...http://community.jaspersoft.com/sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/regular_smile.gif.
