Jasper studio hangs at end of wizard

Hello,

I have just installed jasper studio on two computer, one with ubuntu and the other with debian. Tried also with different jdk.

I use the "create new report" wizard and, even with sample datasource, at the end when I click on "finish" button it says it is ready to build the template but then the window do not close and I can wait forever.

What can I do?

Yes,

tried with my mysql db and also tried with sample data source.

 

BTW I have tried also the plugin for eclipse.

Use Oracle JDK 1.7.x

Are you using Studio 5.6.0?

Having the same issue with the "New Report Wizard" not completing as it attempts to build the report after setting the query.  Using JasperStudio 6.0.3 final  64bit version on CentOs 6.8.  Any solutions to this issue?
