JasperSoft with RedShift

Hi everybody

I am starting a BI development that will be accessed by many clients of the my customer to see standards dashboards, reports and cubes but just with data from herself.

For example, we will make an ETL process that will create tables with the same structure for each clients.

Is it possible the report/dashboards/etc during execution know the user session to query the tables that he have to see?

I saw a video showing the creating a new conection to RedShift on JasperSoft portal to make an ad-hoc report.

Somebody Know if in the IReport , Studio, ETL, etc we can create this connection too?

Yes you can, also at report execution time you have access to the user properties (like name, roles, custom attributes, etc) as parameters. Check this article for more information http://community.jaspersoft.com/wiki/built-parameters-logged-user
