Jaspersoft studio always save code to "Last version"

I need to dev some report in an Old & integration report server ,so I have to use jasper report under V 4.0 (e.g.3.5.0) , 

I had changed jaspersoft studio to "3.5.0" from "Windows -> preferences ->jaspersoft studio -> version (jasperReports 3.5.0)"

and project use workspace settings, 

But ,When I open a jrxml file , IDE change it to V 3.5.0 ,When I save it IDE change it to last version (5.6.0) , it's really bother me! 

Is it a BUG?

How can I set it when file's open and save with same version?

please help me ,it's urgency!

Which version of JSS are you using? Plugin or RCP?

It should correctly saves the version you set via Preferences. You should open a bug about this, anyhow if possible please attach a screencast that shows the operations that you perform. I tried to reproduce but I can not.

I found a workaround for this issue.

Save the file when in the Design tab of the editor.

Note: The bug is in the source tab of the editor. If you save the file when in the Source tab of the editor it always saves it to the latest version
